YCLSA Mpumalanga statement on the unwarranted attacks
10 May 2017
The Young Communist League of South Africa [uFasimba] in Mpumalanga province has noted with disappointment the unwarranted and baseless attacks on the leadership of the YCLSA in particular our National Secretary by some dubious elements.
The slanderous attacks on the YCLSA points to the fact that we hit where it matters most. No amount of factionally-based lies, innuendos and self-serving utterances will deter the YCLSA from making its position known to society.
The future of this country is in danger, if we will have a youth that is obsessed on leading choral to praise individuals in order to survive. Some of the challenges that have engulfed the glorious movement are lack of political tolerance, factional-based discussions and many other wrong tendencies.
In most instances, when people fail to engage content, they resort to being personal and tribal. Such is a clear sign of the highest political and ideological bankruptcy in the quest to be relevant to the politics of the day. We cannot be hoodwinked into mediocrity. YCLSA is led.
