YCLSA mourns the sudden-death of comrade Fezeka Loliwe
6 March 2018
The Young Communist League of South Africa [ufasimba] received with shock and devastation the tragic news of the death of comrade Fezeka Loliwe, the SACP 14th Congress Central Committee member and ANC Member of Parliament. Comrade Loliwe died after a motor vehicle accident late afternoon on Monday, 05 March 2018 on her way from her parliamentary Constituency in Fort Beaufort in the Amathole District Municipality to East London in the Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality. The YCLSA coveys its heartfelt condolences to the Loliwe family, all Progressive Youth Alliance, the Liberation Alliance, parliament and country as a whole.
We lost a humble servant of the people and communist to the end. Comrade Fezeka Loliwe was a dedicated communist on the struggle for socialism and the service of our people. She was part of those who played an important role at the SABC Parliamentary Ad-hoc committee to expose the governance decay and wrong things happening at the public broadcaster. She died in the line of duty as she was on the way from his constituency office to service the people.
We will continue to learn from her works and pick up the spear in our quest for a socialist country.
